[nEn 뉴스에듀신문] 공공데이터 기업매칭 사업에 참여해 실무경험을 쌓고 전문역량을 강화할 수 있는 ‘공공데이터 청년인턴 지원사업’이 접수를 시작했다.
행정안전부는 ‘2022년 공공데이터 기업연계(매칭) 청년인턴 지원사업’ 참가 희망자 2500명을 23일부터 오는 6월 14일까지 모집한다고 밝혔다.
이번 사업은 공공데이터 분야에 관심이 있는 만 19세에서 34세 이하 청년을 대상으로, 통합접수플랫폼에서 신청을 받는다.
공공데이터 기업연계(매칭) 청년인턴 지원사업은 디지털 전환 가속화에 따라 핵심 경쟁력으로 부상하고 있는 데이터 분야의 전문가 양성을 위해 지난 2020년부터 추진했다.
지난 2020년과 2021년 모두 3만 7000여 명의 청년이 지원했다. 이 중 1만 4000명의 청년들이 참여해 공공데이터 구축 및 품질관리 관련 업무를 수행했다.
특히 올해는 기업에서 청년인턴을 직접 선발해 채용하며 4대보험 가입 및 경력증명서 발급이 가능해졌다. 지원자는 접수 때 공공데이터 과제별 참여기업을 선택하면 기업에서 심사를 거쳐 최종 선발한다.
선발된 청년들은 전국 200여 개 공공데이터 기업연계(매칭) 과제에 배치해 공공데이터 개방 및 품질진단, 실측 등 공공데이터 관련 업무를 수행·지원한다.
또한 2주 동안의 온라인 기본교육이 제공되며, 업무 수행 완료 후에는 국가직무능력표준(National Compttency Standards) 기반의 맞춤형 전문교육과정이 제공된다.
근무기간은 오는 7월부터 11월까지 5개월로 1일 8시간 전일제며 월 1일 유급휴가를 부여한다. 수료자에게는 한국지능정보사회진흥원장 명의의 수료증과 함께 참여기업 명의의 경력증명서를 발급한다.
행안부는 공공데이터 청년인턴들의 취업을 지원하기 위해 끝장토론(해커톤), 공모전, 취업 자문 등의 다양한 프로그램을 제공할 예정이다.
박덕수 행안부 공공데이터정책관은 “디지털 전환이 가속화하는 시기에 고품질의 공공데이터를 구축·개방함과 동시에 데이터 분야 인재가 중요하다”며 “청년들이 현장에서 공공데이터를 직접 다뤄보는 경험을 통해 데이터 인재로 거듭날 수 있는 좋은 기회에 많은 참여를 바란다”고 밝혔다.
한편 지난해 참가했던 청년들은 422개의 행정·공공기관에서 우수한 역량을 발휘해 516개의 기관데이터베이스(DB) 품질진단 및 개선을 수행했다. 8만 3225개 파일데이터와 8663개 응용프로그램인터페이스 개방데이터의 품질진단 및 개선업무를 수행하는 성과를 달성한 것으로 나타났다.
